Himesh Reshammiya on Seedhi Baat- part 1

Now this is my second consecutive post on Himesh Reshammiya - i still don't call myself a big fan of the man, but I can't help but admit that my admiration for the man has only increased over time. The first time he impressed me was on the TV show "Aap Ki Adalat". Replyin to Rajat Sharma's allegation that he was being criticised for claiming to have given more hits than Mohd Rafi, the singer very humbly said, " Rajatji, the claim i made is factually correct. Yet i know realize that people are not ready to accept the fact and it's probably hurt their sentiments. So i apologize for speaking the truth, and promise not speak the truth again." Some chutzpah that. Watch him talking to the very hateful Seedhi Baat chap here in this video.

Hats off to you Himmesh.

Himesh Reshammiya shooting in Baden-Baden ,Germany

Himesh shooting for his debut film Aap ka surroor in Germany. Defying each and every film critic, Himmesh Reshammiya has surprised everyone and his debut film "Aap Ka Suroor" has been declared a roaring box office success. It's bollywood's biggest hit of the year - quite an achievement that.

A critic said, "It's sad that all you now need to give a hit movie at Bollywood is to be wearing a cap all the time."

Himesh Reshammiya's First Movie: 'Aap Ka Shurroor' Trailer

Ever wondered why singer-star Himesh Reshammiya looks that glum in each one of his music videos? Well, the answer is hanging in the air - and will be released soon as he stars himself in his about to be released movie, titled 'Aap Ka Shurroor', named after one of his most successful music videos. The lead female role is played by new actress Reya, and the movie is directed by Prashant Chadha. The movie is being talked about as a real expensively produced one - the figure doing the rounds is Rs.90 crores. Shot in Germany and Singapore, you can rest assured about the production qualities. Two more tidbits - Mallika Sherawat plays a negative role in the movie, and the final moments are going to be real action packed - featuring 10 BMWs and a few choppers. Let's see if Himesh Reshammiya's first movie too has the same tragic element as his videos, or will it be happier.

Enjoy this trailer of Himesh Reshammiya's first Bollywood film 'Aap ka Shuroor'.
